Hello, Family and Friends,

Welcome to the Jones, Anderson, and Gamble Family Reunion 2023. I am delighted to host this year’s family reunion and hope that the festivities planned will bring you relaxation and good cheer. Family is the essence of everyone’s core. Each year, God gives us the privilege to reminisce on past reunions, celebrate personal milestones, and experience the freshness of creating new memories. As we navigate through this decade, let’s continue to stay in touch and keep our family legacy going.

Itinerary

This is the itinerary of family events planned for the reunion. We ask that all family attempt to be on time for all events so that we can maximize our experience together.

The itinerary is as follows:

Friday, 08/04/2023

3:00 PM Hotel Check-in at Embassy Suites Hilton Savannah Airport

7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Family Meet & Greet (The Pirate’s House) River Street

Saturday, 08/05/2023

7:00 AM – 10:00 AM Complimentary Breakfast is served at the Embassy Suites Hilton Savannah.

10:30 AM Group photos in family reunion shirts (Meet in the downstairs lobby)

10:45 AM Complimentary reunion beach bags.

11:00 AM Depart from hotel for Family Day at Beach event

2:00 PM Lunch on the Beach

4:30 PM Load onto family buses for return to the hotel venue

7:00 PM Annual Family Banquet hosted at Embassy Suites Hilton Savannah

8:30 PM Group family photo (Photographer- Ninety 7 Frames)

Please keep in mind the following:

Reservations must be booked before the release/cut-off date, which is midnight on July 10, 2023. After the release date, the rooms & the special rate may no longer be available. There Is A 2 Night Minimum Stay Requirement.

A complimentary full breakfast is served on weekdays from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and on weekends from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. In addition, hot breakfast complimentary for the entire stay. There is also a complimentary reception held daily.

Meet & Greet Location

Friday night check-in for the family reunion will occur at The Pirate’s House. The address is 20 E Broad Street, Savannah, GA 31401.

When you arrive at the restaurant, you will see signage that indicates our gathering is there. Custom Hors d’ Oeuvres will be served, and beverages will be included. All alcoholic beverages can be purchased with the server. However, it will not be included in the reunion’s tab.

We ask that everyone:

Sign in at the Welcome table
Double-check your address and phone numbers on file.
Retrieve your welcome back
Retrieve your itinerary
Retrieve your shirts for your household.

This event will be a great way to kick off our reunion! FYI: If for some reason you are unable to make the meet and greet, please reach out to the coordinator to retrieve your welcome bag, verify your current contact information, and retrieve your t-shirts for your household.

After the Meet & Greet (River Street)

Our Meet & Greet location is in Savannah’s Historic District near River Street. River Street is Savannah’s Waterfront that has cobblestone streets, shops, and entertainment. Our family will be within walking distance of Savannah’s most historic street. Let’s enjoy the scenery.

Photography Access

This year’s photographer will be Ninety 7 Frames.

Ninety 7 Frames is a Local photographer serving the South since 2019, specializing in wedding photography, private party photography, large and small event photography, and portrait photography.

Ninety 7 Frames will take individual family photos, banquet photos, and our signature group photos.

Digital prints of the event will be distributed after the event. If there are any particular photos that you would like to request, please advise the coordinator via email after the reunion. The email address to make a photo request is Inthestone2001@outlook.com

Family Day at the Beach

Our Family activity will be a day at Tybee Island beach. We ask that all family members stay in the lobby after all group photos. Transportation will depart the hotel no later than 11:15 AM.

Complimentary beach bags will be given to everyone attending the trip. We will have lunch on the beachfront at 2:00 PM.

Transportation will leave the beach at 4:30 PM, so everyone will return to the hotel in time to prepare for the family’s annual banquet.

If you cannot attend the beach event or believe that you will not want to stay with the group the entire time, please advise the family reunion coordinator.
